Liquor Control Board hosting I-502 forums statewide, AWC scheduling additional meetings for local officials

AWC is working closely with the Washington State Liquor Control Board (LCB) to bring additional I-502 information sessions to cities. Watch for information about webinars for city officials with the LCB coming up in the near future.

In the meantime, LCB is hosting public forums in a community near you starting in January. The purpose is to get input from the public and share information about the changes stemming from the passage of I-502. Additionally, LCB will discuss the licensing process and other pertinent information on the future retail of certain amounts of marijuana.

The LCB also encourages city officials to contact them if they would like to meet with LCB staff one-on-one in the afternoon prior to the evening forum. City officials interested in setting up a meeting should contact Samantha Trotter, LCB Staff, at st@liq.wa.gov or 360-664-1717.

  • 6 – 7 pm: Q&A Session
LCB officials will be available for an individual question-and-answer session before the forum begins.
  • 7 – 10 pm: I-502 Forum
