2010 Sponsorship Opportunities

Planning is well underway for the 24th Healthy Worksite Summit to be held in Bellevue, October 12–13, 2010 and Spokane Valley, October 14, 2010. A conference of this caliber, at this price, is made possible by the generous support of our sponsors. Your support will help us to continue to increase awareness about the many benefits of worksite health promotion and help provide valuable training to employers from Washington and across the Northwest. We are once again anticipating record attendance with approximately 350 – 400 attendees expected. Our audience is made up of professionals from various departments or committees with approximately 50% representing health promotion and nearly 30% from human resources.

Sponsorship policies

The sponsorship levels will be evaluated annually by the sponsorship subcommittee with recommendations for revision being approved by the partners. The Healthy Worksite Summit partners reserve the right to determine the eligibility of any sponsor. All sponsor solicitation lists and applications will be approved by the committee chair to ensure they meet the standards of the partners. The partners reserve the right to decline sponsorship funds from any organization representing products or services do not match the mission of the Summit, are deemed to be inappropriate, or do not fall within current industry standards. Pharmaceutical companies are not permitted to advertise specific brand name drugs and are required to promote cost containment or health education programs.

Sponsorship may be offered to speakers in lieu of payment. General guidelines for sponsorship levels are as follows:

  • Workshop – Bronze ($500 value)
  • 3-hour intensive workshop – Silver ($1,000 value)
  • Keynote presentation – Gold ($3,000 value)

Contributions may be made in the form of cash or in-kind services. An estimated value of the in-kind services will be agreed upon by the sub-committee and the sponsor, and will be used to determine sponsorship level.

Media sponsors are organizations that provide an ad, article, or distribute brochures for the Summit.

Logo placement

If an organization falls into multiple levels, their logo will be placed at the highest of the two levels. For levels with multiple sponsors, logos will be placed in the most visually appealing arrangement all on one line. If space does not allow for logos to appear all on one line, they will be arranged alphabetically.
