These suburban communities are prominent neighbors of the large urban
centers and experienced a good deal of growth over the past decade.
While property values in these cities can be relatively high, the sales
tax base is low. These communities relied heavily on the housing boom of
recent years. As growth continues to slow, many of these cities will be
less able to meet residential and commercial service needs in coming
years. All data is recorded as an average for all cities in the cluster.
