Anacortes, Centralia, Ellensburg, Longview, Moses Lake, Mount Vernon, Port Angeles, Pullman, Walla Walla, Wenatchee

Size:
Largest in non-metro areas.

Growth:
Low rate of growth over the 1990s, though higher than other non-metro area cities.

Fiscal:
Commercial activity is relatively high, producing high per capita sales tax revenue. The residents of these cities tend to have lower median household incomes, on average, than the largest cities in metro areas (“Central Cities”).
