Our Local Flex Package puts the decision-making about investing local revenues in the hands of local officials – exactly where it belongs.
Spurring a recovery on Main Street requires local governments to make smart, forward-looking choices on economic development and public safety. We can’t do that with our hands tied up in outdated priorities that don’t make sense in today’s constrained environment.
We are on the front lines, investing in police, fire protection, streets, and other community essentials. We need flexibility to make the right choices now and in an uncertain future.
We are not asking for new revenue, just the same latitude to act that state officials already enjoy.
