Not understanding your responsibilities under the Public Records Act (PRA and Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) can be costly. In this workshop, you will hear from experts on how to build a public records program that will help avoid problems before they develop. You will also learn when the OPMA applies and when it doesn't . These workshops will feature real-world examples to illustrate the requirements of the PRA and OPMA.

• Learn how to avoid common pitfalls in Open Public Records Act responses.
• Identify conduct that could raise “red flags."
• Understand when the Open Public Meetings Act applies to subcommittees, serial conversations, email exchanges, and other similar circumstances.
