Small City ScholarshipsTo encourage smaller city officials to participate in the Annual Conference, AWC is providing a limited number of scholarships. The scholarships are offered to smaller cities of less than 5,000 population – maximum of one scholarship per city. There are a limited number of scholarships, so first come, first serve. AWC will accept one complimentary registration from the first 30 cities that register on our conference website. Each of those 30 cities will receive one free registration for elected officials or staff. This complimentary registration, however, does not include optional pre-conference workshop fees. Since your registration fee is waived, and your meals are complimentary, your expenses would include only travel and hotel accommodations. In this era of shrinking city budgets, every city has faced cuts and challenges and could use a complimentary registration. However, please apply only if you feel your city truly needs the registration fee waiver.
