8 Reasons to Attend AWC’s Annual Conference

June 20-23, Spokane

Quality education

Conference sessions ranging from communicating with your citizens to public/private partnerships that promote economic development. It’s information you can use immediately.

Make contacts

More networking time built into this year’s agenda. More time for hallway conversations, and making contacts in the exhibit. Making one-on-one contacts is a big conference benefit. AWC’s annual conference is about the connecting with people you otherwise never would have met.

Learn one new thing

Walk away with one pertinent, practical, relevant idea that applies to your city’s day-to-day challenges.

Different perspectives

You’ve all been in the same boat. AWC’s conference gives you the opportunity to hear how someone else would handle your situation.

Focus

Vision and knowledge

Stretch your mindset and leadership skills in the keynote sessions.

Affordable prices

This year AWC is offering a special discount to first time conference attendees…a registration rate that’s even less than the traditional early bird discount. The early registration discount is also a good deal for people who want to register early and get their first choice hotel.

Build on AWC’s Newly-Elected Officials training

Take the next level of essential training. This year’s conference features several Certified Municipal Leadership courses, including a fundamental short course in planning and land use.
