The five public sector risk pools above generously offer scholarships for their members to attend the Labor Relations Institute. In addition, AWC Small City scholarships are available. The terms of the scholarships, as well as the process for obtaining them, are noted below. Please review the membership lists to see if you qualify and use the appropriate scholarship code when registering, if applicable. If the scholarship you are registering for is limited to one per jurisdiction, and someone else has already registered for the scholarship from your jurisdiction, you will be charged the normal registration fee.
Note: Organizations that sponsor scholarships are not responsible for cancellation fees. If you cancel your registration or do not attend, your jurisdiction will be billed for the appropriate cancellation fee ($75 if prior to April 3, full registration fee after that date.)
Small cities under 5,000 in population may qualify for one scholarship for the Institute only. You must use this scholarship code when registering to obtain the AWC Small Cities Scholarship: LRISCS.
RMSA members are eligible for three scholarships per jurisdiction to the Institute only. Contact your RMSA staff.
WCRP members are eligible for one free early bird (by April 3) registration per county. WCRP encourages attendees to access the conference materials through AWC’s website or app. Materials will be available one week prior to the conference and participants will receive further instructions by email. WCRP will not cover the cost of the conference binders. Contact your county risk manager to obtain the WCRP scholarship code prior to registering.
WSTIP members are eligible for one free early bird (by April 3) registration per agency for the Institute. You must use this scholarship code when registering to obtain the WSTIP scholarship: LRIWSTIP.
