AWC’s Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) program provides mayors and councilmembers the training they need to effectively operate within the law, plan for the future, secure and manage funds and foster community and staff relationships.
Your training achievements are recognized at two levels:
Mayors and councilmembers are automatically enrolled in the CML program after attending an AWC workshop or conference that offers CML credits. AWC tracks your credits, and you can check your progress online.
When you meet the core or advanced certificate requirements, you will receive your certificate and are recognized in AWC’s electronic newsletter CityVoice and at our annual conference. You can also request a CML or Advanced CML logo for use on your business cards.
See the list here.
Track your progress and look up your CML credits.
Receive a CML or Advanced CML logo that you can use on your business cards. Contact Karen Tanner for the logos.
Look for this logo accompanying trainings and you’ll earn CML credits for attending.
