Small City Connectors

May 10 – Dayton
St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
Parish Hall (across
the street from City Hall)
112 S 1st Street
Dayton, WA 99328

Small cities are unique. It’s the personal and close-knit nature of small communities that make them the historical and cultural bedrock of American life. But governing a small town isn’t easy. This is your opportunity to get together with other small cities and connect!

This year at Small City Connectors you will:

  • Hear an update on the 2017 legislative session and meet with AWC CEO Peter B. King.
  • Learn about what’s new with AWC programs and services tailored especially to small cities and towns.
  • Find out about a new Washington State Department of Commerce outreach program designed to connect you with lots of agency resources. This includes infrastructure financing, housing/homelessness, energy efficiency, and many other small community needs.
  • Meet with your peers, connect with your neighboring cities, share stories and insights, and give us feedback!

Added bonus!

At each location, we’ll have a catered dinner from 5-6 pm. There will also be a drawing at each event for one free registration for the following events in 2017:

  • AWC Annual Conference in Vancouver
  • IACC Conference in Wenatchee
  • One fall Regional Meeting

Must be present to win, one award per city.
