Mayors have a unique role at city hall, and who understands your challenges better than other mayors?

AWC’s Mayors Exchange provides mayors and city executives from throughout the state with an opportunity to meet each other, discuss concerns and glean best practices. These events are part of an ongoing series. In addition to providing valuable networking time, each Mayors Exchange focuses on a different topic, allowing you to delve into important issues facing your community and the state.

This event is for mayors, city managers and administrators.

For cities and towns under 5,000 population, scholarships are available. Please enter the scholarship code MESCS during the registration process to utilize this scholarship.
For cities over 5,000 and experiencing financial difficulties, Washington Cities scholarships may be available.

Hotel reservations

AWC has reserved a block of sleeping rooms for the night of September 19 at a negotiated rate. The AWC rate is available until September 5, 2017.

The room block fills up quickly, please make your reservation as soon as possible. Please note: One reservation per registrant. AWC will audit for duplicate reservations.

Hotel changes/cancellations

Guests are responsible for paying for their own accommodations. All changes and cancellations must be made directly with the hotel. The hotel must receive notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date and a cancellation number must be obtained by the guest to avoid penalty charges for one-night stay.

AWC is not responsible for any penalty or no-show charges.

AWC has worked diligently with the hotels to establish a room block for our attendees. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company or housing provider other than AWC is not approved. Reservations made by unaffiliated organizations may appear to be for lower rates; however, they may be illegitimate, have unreasonable cancellations or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable. Please be aware of and report any unauthorized solicitation to AWC at registration@awcnet.org.
