Designated Employer Representative (DER) training

U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations require employers to appoint a Designated Employer Representative (DER) to manage the drug and alcohol testing program. The DER has very specific, mandated requirements, actions and responsibilities. This training covers key aspects of the DER's responsibilities, including oversight of DOT drug test collections, laboratory testing, result reporting, alcohol testing, random selections, and the return-to-duty process after a violation.

This workshop is for anyone who is or plans to be the Designated Employer Representative for a city that is a member of the AWC Drug & Alcohol Consortium.
