City Trends Report

During the summer of 2012, AWC initiated a research project to identify the key trends facing cities in the years ahead. Through surveys, focus groups, existing publications, and staff input, AWC compiled a report that projects into the future and identifies the most pressing issues for Washington’s cities. The 2012 Trends Report served as a catalyst for AWC’s Board of Directors to develop its new Strategic Plan and is a useful tool for cities looking to address issues in a quickly-evolving environment.
