New toolkit addresses homelessness and affordable housing crisis
AWC and MRSC have partnered to present a new publication that details the tools and actions some Washington cities have used in responding to the issues of homelessness and affordable housing. The Homelessness & housing toolkit for cities provides 18 real-world examples of cities responding to the growing crises. Included in the toolkit are articles on housing levies, tenant protections, tax exemptions, regional coalitions, emergency rental assistance and more. More

National Service Recognition Day
The Corporation for National and Community Service invites you to join more than 3,000 city and county officials in support of local leaders on April 4. This day is all about recognizing and thanking AmeriCorps members and Senior Corps volunteers for the work they do every day in your communities. Sign up in support of national service and find additional resources.
