We’re updating AWC JobNet!

To ensure we can notify you when we launch our new AWC JobNet system, you must include your contact information on all submissions.

How to place an ad

Ad placement is free of charge to Washington cities, towns, and local governments. AWC will also post ads for positions outside the State of Washington for no charge. AWC does not post jobs for private companies outside of municipal government.

Job listings updated every Friday. All job submissions received by 4:30 Friday will be posted that day. Submissions received after 4:30 on Friday will be posted the following Friday. Submissions can be made at any time with the job submission form.

Job submissions are no longer being accepted by email, fax or mail. To best suit the limited space requirements and to improve the service overall, all job submissions must be made with the online form.

Space is very limited in the job description, experience required, and education required fields. Please keep your entries as brief as possible. Any submissions with lengthy content will be reworded with "Please inquire for details."

How to remove or edit your ad

JobNet is updated daily to remove positions with close dates. For open until filled or other positions with no close date, please email jobnet@awcnet.org when the job has been filled. Please note that all "open until filled" or "open continuously" positings over 90 days old are routinely removed from JobNet.

To edit an ad, please email jobnet@awcnet.org or call (360) 753-4137 with the desired changes. It is not necessary to send another job submission form. Please refer to the exact job title as it is advertised on JobNet when requesting to edit or remove an ad.

Subscriptions to JobNet

We no longer offer paper subscriptions to JobNet.
