Retro Safety Coordinator (RSC)

The Retro Safety Coordinator program consists of 12 required courses. Each course is generally two hours in length. Retro member jurisdictions receive a safety award by having field employees receive certification.

We strongly encourage each Retro member to have at least one employee complete the Retro Safety Coordinator program. Ideally, you should strive to have a Retro Safety Coordinator in each major department (public works, parks, police, fire, etc.). This training is free to AWC Retro members.

AWC Retro Safety Academy

AWC Retro offers eight day-long safety workshops, each offering four different safety classes. The 2013 Retro Safety Academies will take place in March, April and May. Register now!
