RMSA Trainings

RMSA offers trainings two ways – on-demand or onsite. This makes training convenient and accessible when you need it.

RMSA•U On-demand training

Available to RMSA members only

Your one stop shop for free online training whenever you need it. Each training takes about 30 minutes. Trainings can be saved and completed later.

There are courses available year round including disciplinary action and procedures and performance management. Other courses are added on a quarterly basis.

This training is free, and does not impact your RMSA premiums. We partnered with our reinsurer (ACE) and received a large grant for online training – which we’ve reinvested in you.

Onsite trainings

Trainings are an essential component of the AWC RMSA comprehensive Loss Control Program. Onsite trainings are free to RMSA members and are open to the public on a cost-per-attendee basis.

Trainings offered throughout the year include:

• Being an effective board or commission member
• Do’s & don’ts of land use decision making
• Elected officials roles and responsibilities
• Eliminating workplace harassment and bullying
• Employment law
• Police liability
• Public works/parks & recreation liability
