Regional Meetings

November 8 – Federal Way
Federal Way Community Center
876 S. 333rd St.
Federal Way, WA 98003

AWC Regional Meetings offer city officials the opportunity to gather over dinner and share insight and news from home. You’ll also hear from AWC about what’s going on in Olympia, our legislative strategy, what you can do to help, and get a first look at AWC board-adopted 2018 city legislative priorities.

Meet with AWC CEO Peter King and AWC expert legislative staff to share your news from home, issues of interest, concerns, stories, challenges and opportunities. This is your time to share your thoughts on priorities and key issues, what you’re hearing from legislators, and your experiences in using AWC’s advocacy tools and resources. Learn all about our legislative priorities and catch our lobbyists’ early predictions of what’s in store for cities. Additionally, you’ll hear from MRSC staff as they highlight their latest news and how MRSC can help your city.

Finally, discover if you are maximizing all of your AWC member services and learn about important issues in your region. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to connect and share your thoughts and experiences about key issues facing cities. Come prepared to have a robust discussion with your fellow city officials.

Regional Meetings are designed for elected officials, city managers/administrators, city clerks, and others at city hall.
