SEPA traffic mitigation fees on projects outside of a city

HB 2161 would prohibit a city from levying SEPA fees to mitigate traffic impacts on projects that are located outside city boundaries unless they have an interlocal agreement in place with the city or county where the project is located.

Boeing deal includes funding for planned actions

One element of the “Boeing deal” that has not gotten as much attention as others is the provision of $2 million dollars to the Department of Commerce for grants to cities or counties for paying the cost of upfront environmental review in and around current and future large manufacturing sites for aerospace.

Mostly good news on MTCA funding
