Seattle Times – "Dueling state budgets split over which pot gets pot money"

On April 9 the Seattle Times published a helpful article outlining the differences on marijuana in the House and Senate budgets. It writes, “Competing proposals by the House and Senate would change how tax revenue from legalized marijuana is spent. The Senate would have the bulk go to education; the House would have it spent mostly on programs the voter-passed initiative had in mind.”

The Times does a good job explaining where those differences are and what will need to be done over the next couple of weeks in order for the Senate and House to come to a compromise.
