Liquor Control Board will now allow changes to application addresses for marijuana-related businesses

The Liquor Control Board (LCB) announced changes to the application process for marijuana-related business licenses.

Originally, any application for marijuana producer, processor or retailer that had an improper address would be disqualified. An improper address for example was one within the 1,000 feet buffer. The board has reversed their position and is now allowing applicants 30 days to secure a legal address, otherwise their application will be dismissed.

This will not require a rule change by LCB because it is part of their internal processes and procedures for accepting licenses.
